It starts with a 271-hp turbocharged 2.4-litre SUBARU BOXER® engine sitting low in the chassis, feeding power through Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time AWD to all four wheels. The Subaru Global Platform underneath it is rigid by design, which means the suspension does what it's supposed to do: keep you planted, responsive, and connected to the road on every corner.

The 271-hp turbocharged 2.4-litre DIT® SUBARU BOXER® engine produces a broad torque curve that's as satisfying on the highway on-ramp as it is through a winding back road outside of Waterloo Region. Standard Symmetrical AWD puts all of it to the ground. A 13.5:1 point-and-shoot steering ratio and track-tuned sport suspension make sure the chassis earns every bit of what the engine delivers.

EyeSight® and DriverFocus® come standard. The Sport is the WRX at entry level, which still puts it ahead of most cars on the road.
